It’s worth noting that the “Kirby and the Forgotten Land”-themed design for the Switch OLED packaging does not incur any additional cost, at least for Nintendo customers in Japan.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has announced that the surprise “Kirby and the Forgotten Land” demo for Switch is now available on the handheld game console, according to a recent report from IGN.

It should be noted that Nintendo first announced the upcoming game title of the highly sought-after “Kirby” franchise in September 2021.

COLOGNE, GERMANY – AUGUST 20: The Nintendo logo is seen during the press day at the Gamescom 2019 gaming fair on August 20, 2019 in Cologne, Germany. Gamescom 2019, the world’s largest video game trade show, will be open to the public from August 21-24.

At the time, “Kirby and Forgotten Land” was billed as the first-ever fully 3D adventure for the game title’s cute pink puffball protagonist.

The cute protagonist of the Nintendo franchise first saw the light of day in 1992, when 3D wasn’t yet a thing for games.

So the latest recreation of the pink puffball brings Kirby into the modern world, where there are tons of adventures to come.

Currently, the “Kirby and the Forgotten Land” demo is available for download on the Switch eShop now. In a few weeks, the full game will be released on March 25.

The day we’ve all been dreading has finally arrived – Nintendo has confirmed that in 2023 it will shut down the Wii U and 3DS eShops in order to focus entirely on its Switch platform.

It’s the natural course of things – especially in the digital age, where we don’t “own” anything – but there’s still a bittersweet feeling about the news, and in Japan, fans have spoken. online on the decision.

Kotaku combed through social media and message boards to compile a list of the most notable (and extreme) fan reactions, some of which you can see below.

“Nintendo is unbalanced.”

“Well, even if you’re buying downloads, it’s just a rental.”

“Okay, so make it possible to use Virtual Console on the Switch”

“Inevitably, that day has arrived, hasn’t it? »

“I can trust Sony more than Nintendo.”

“Ridiculous. It makes me want to buy only on Steam.

“At the end, you won’t be able to play anymore?” It’s terrifying.

“That’s thinking little about your customers.”

“It’s reckless. That’s the problem.

“It’s garbage.”

“Hit it with this s****y monthly subscription for Switch Online and bring back Virtual Console.

“It’s going too fast.”

“If we can’t play previously purchased games, give us our money back.”

“You can still buy digital games for the Vita. Also, last year new things came out. The way Nintendo’s hardware is simply thrown to the wolves is truly horrifying.”

“And that’s why I hate downloadable versions.”

“I still play 3DS! Stop fucking with me!”

“And now I see the importance of buying the retail package version.”

“The Switch will also be cut quickly. Remember this.”

” He’s finally arrived. I wasn’t expecting this, however.

“But all the games I’ve bought…”

“What a waste to end such a wonderful service for game consoles.”

“Will there be a sudden price for the package version of the games?”

“It would be nice if they kept it forever. The endings feel so lonely.

It’s worth noting that the 3DS sold an incredible 24.67 million units over its lifetime in Japan, and it would be safe to say that at least a fraction of those systems are still on the way. ‘use.

Nintendo continues the hype for tomorrow’s release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus with a new physical reward on My Nintendo. For 400 Platinum Points, members can receive this really cute cable holder featuring Pikachu and Eevee, with each character adorning one side of the clip.

If you’re looking for a way to keep those cables organized, this charming clip is the perfect solution. Sized at 100mm (width) x 50mm (height), it’s a darling way to travel in style in a rather subtle way. It is made of ATBC-PVC with iron snaps for closure. Unfortunately, cable support is only being offered to members in Japan at this time, but if news of a Western release makes the rounds, we’ll be sure to let you know.

For those in Japan, keep in mind that the shipping fee is ¥550 (tax included). For more details on the reward, be sure to check out My Nintendo Japan‘s Cable Support page!

Nintendo revealed the most downloaded games in Japan in 2021 and there are a surprising number of third-party games on the list. Nintendo Switch’s top-selling list of games has been dominated by proprietary titles in the past, with games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal crossing: new horizons, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate being sales heavyweights who continue to generate income for the company.

2021 has been a big year for the Switch. The system had a murderous row of exclusives, including Terror Metroid, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Shin Megami Tensei V, Mario Party Superstars, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and New Pokémon Snap. The OLED version of the system was also released in time for the holiday season, giving Nintendo something that could rival the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S over Christmas. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Online service received the Paid Expansion Pack, which added the N64 and Sega Genesis games to the service, while also giving free access to the Animal crossing: new horizons DLC.

Nintendo did particularly well in Japan throughout the year, where it crushed competition in the console market. Nintendo’s official site in Japan has a page that reveals the most downloaded games throughout the year. Topping the list is the much-acclaimed Monster hunter rise, which was a Switch exclusive in 2021, but will hit PC next month. Among us was game number two, which isn’t surprising given the game’s explosion in popularity during the pandemic and its insanely cheap price tag

everything we know about the rise of the monster hunters

Shiny Diamond Pokémon took third place, but Shining Pearl Pokémon is in fifth place. The game separating the two is the latest entry in the Momotaro Dentetsu series, which has not been located outside of Japan. the Monotaro Dentetsu is a board game style video game similar to Monopoly, where players get rich by buying properties. The rest of the top ten consists of Human: Falling flat, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It’s surprising that Animal crossing: new horizons is the thirteenth on the list, suggesting that interest in the game may start to wane, following its rise in popularity during the pandemic, when it looked set to become the best-selling Nintendo Switch game.

The above list only considers digital games in Japan. the Monster hunter the series is more popular in its home country than abroad, although it has developed a fanbase in recent years, and the Momotaro Dentetsu the games do not have English versions. It will be interesting to see which games dominated Nintendoof the company’s global sales, in the company’s next tax report in the first quarter of 2022.

If you’re like us, you still want to keep anything Nintendo-branded, even if it’s designed to be disposable. Sometimes a Pokemon Cake may just appear to be eating, and it may be difficult to engage where you want to place your Legend of Zelda Stickers. Don’t worry about gift-wrapping options this holiday season, as Nintendo’s “two-way wrapping bags” nicely solve that kind of anxiety by letting you keep your product intact after use.

After being used as a gift wrap (with fancy ribbons), these bags can then be reused as folding bags, even after the recipient has opened their gift. The latest additions to this range on The My Nintendo store in Japan present designs based on the Super Mario series, with three bags featuring Mario, Yoshi, and Boo.

According to Nintendo RP, each bag “is large enough to hold a laptop, etc., and is convenient for small bags of groceries and accessories.” The Mario bag is medium in size and priced at 1,430 (around $ 12.50), while the Yoshi and Boo bags are smaller and cost 990 (around $ 9). They are expected to ship in mid-November 2021.

This is just the latest set of products in a lively line of Nintendo goodies exclusive to the My Nintendo store in Japan, which includes other Mario-themed gift wrap options and cute Yoshi oven mitts.

Nintendo’s Japanese website reveals the 100 handpicked mini-games that will be playable in upcoming Mario Party Superstars.

Mario Party Super Star Mini Games

The main draw of Mario Party Superstars This is how he presents the best elements of the series. This includes many different sets from previous games in the franchise. The most recent news has come from the latest Nintendo Direct, as Nintendo revealed that three more classic boards will be in Mario Party Superstars. It just goes to show how much thought has been given to giving fans a classic experience. In addition, the website of Mario Party Superstars showed short videos of all the returning minigames.

Mini-games are a staple of the Mario party franchise, as these are skill or luck based challenges that break up the board game aspect and give players a chance to get more coins to buy stars. Mario Party Superstars will continue this tradition, with a multitude of mini-games that will be brought back from the other main entrances. As if to keep the nostalgia alive, a majority of these mini-games are coming back from N64 games.

RELATED: The Nintendo 64 Switch Controller Has Additional Buttons

Of the 100 mini-games presented for Mario Party Superstars, 55 of them are from Mario Party 1-3. These include classics like Mushroom Mix-Up and Shy-Guy Says from the first game, to other N64 minigame classics like Bumper Balls and Hot Rope Jump. The various game match modes should also appear, such as a free-to-all four-way game and the One-on-One Duel mini-games. There also appears to be at least one returning mini-game where a player can be rewarded with a free item if they are successful.

Super Mario Party Star

As for the GameCube Mario party mini-games being represented, 36 of them will make a comeback. Some incredibly popular mini-games are making a comeback, like Dungeon Duos, which just released Mario party 4 and requires the full teamwork of the two competing players facing each other. The rest of the mini-games come from the division’s Wii era of the series, like Mario 8-10 Party are the least represented, with a derisory total of 9 mini-games resulting from these entries.

This can be seen as a good thing for some, because Mario party 9 and ten are generally considered one of the lowest points for longtime fans, so not adding too many elements of these games would be nice. However, given that they were still pictured, it shows that there is at least some love for some of the minigames in these titles. With these many classic mini-games and returning features, it looks like Mario Party Superstars could be the game that is a real comeback.

Mario Party Superstars is slated to launch for Nintendo Switch on October 29.

The image of Diddy Kong has been updated on Nintendo’s Japanese website, sparking rumors that the pint-sized hero may make a comeback in the not-so-distant future.

As spotted by eagle eyes BlueCatBanjo73 and reported by our friends at Nintendo Life, Diddy has had a facelift, even if all has been quiet on the Kong front since the re-release of Tropical Freeze on Nintendo Switch a few years ago.

Now, however, Nintendo Japan has updated Diddy’s stock image on the official website, replacing the latest render – which was taken from Mario Party DS – with a new one. Interestingly, Diddy wears the same pose and outfit.

Does this definitely confirm that something new is on the way? Is that how it is. But there’s no denying that it’s an odd time for a random update, and can indeed be a devious sign that there’s something on the horizon, like a new Mario Party game. For now, though, all we can do is watch this space, I guess.

Random rendering update or something more?

As reported by Nintendo Life, the render of Diddy Kong on Nintendo Japan‘s website has been randomly updated, raising hopes that he could make a comeback very soon.

The discovery was made by Twitter user CosmoBrittany73, who tweeted his discovery and compared it to the old render of Mario Party. The render can be found on Nintendo Japan’s Character Portal for the Mario series, with Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong appearing at the bottom.

RELATED: Super Nintendo World Has A Locked Door Hinting At The Donkey Kong Expansion

Looking at the new image compared to the old, there is a clear difference in the quality of the rendering. The big difference is the quality of Diddy’s fur, which has been updated to be more realistic. His pose is exactly the same as it has been for several years now, most recently appearing in Mario Kart Tour, but the fur is brand new.

GAME VIDEO OF THE DAY

Looking at the other character in the portal, there’s a mix of new and old renders. Mario’s render looks pretty updated, but Luigi’s is still quite old. This makes it even more curious, because neither Donkey Kong nor Diddy Kong have had their own game in quite some time, and yet their rendering is updated before Luigi and the other Mario characters.

The most annoying possibility is that it’s literally just a rendering update and nothing more. It’s a bit hit and miss, but it makes sense that Nintendo would go back and update its characters from time to time.

A realistic expectation is that it has something to do with the Donkey Kong expansion that’s currently in production at Super Nintendo World. A locked gate in this park hinted that Diddy and Donkey were coming to the park, so it could be a shared render between the two sites.

Some fans are going a little crazier with their theory and think it might have something to do with an all-new Mario Party, or even some new Donkey Kong game of some sort. It’s been a while since Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, so maybe it’s time for the duo to return.
