Deliverance is coming to Switch according to Nintendo Japan
While it hasn’t been officially announced yet, it looks like Nintendo Switch gamers may be getting to grips with a new RPG next month. Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance launched a few years ago on PC and console, and according to Nintendo Japan’s official release schedule, the Royal Edition of the game apparently arrives on Nintendo Switch next. If this is true, this would be another awesome port for the portable system.
Nintendo Japan‘s release schedule includes all upcoming Switch releases for 2021 and beyond. Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition makes an appearance, slated for release on February 18, 2021. There is no store link or artwork provided, unlike most versions listed, but it’s there nonetheless.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance took a slightly different approach for a Western open-world RPG. The team placed great emphasis on historical precision and the game is set in the medieval kingdom of Bohemia. If the Switch version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is legitimate, it would certainly provide a different experience for Nintendo gamers.
We hope to hear about it in a more official capacity soon. February 18th is fast approaching, so Nintendo would like to officially announce it in the coming weeks. A successful port can be as important a task as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, another huge open-world RPG converted for use on Switch.
